Since 2018，Zhengzhou has implemented General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important instructions on cultural relics work in its cultural relics undertakings，constantly consolidated the foundation of the protection and safety of cultural relics，actively explored the reform of key areas，including the four historical and cultural areas，ecological preservation，pre-reform of archaeological work and support for non-state-owned museum，and actively strengthened cultural support for building important cultural highlands，national central cities and the Center for the Inheritance and Innovation of Chinese History and Civilization，with remarkable achievements in its cultural relics undertakings.
