This report is mainly composed of urban public safety index system and evaluation method. It discusses the design principle，index content，data specification and data processing method in detail，explains the related problems involved in the evaluation process，and forms a complete urban public safety evaluation scheme. The evaluation system of urban public safety indicators in China is divided into five first level indicators，24 second level indicators and 74 third level indicators，among which the first level indicators include social safety，accident disaster，natural disaster，public health，public safety prevention and control and emergency response capacity. In the report，the index weight is determined by the combination of expert consultation and AHP，and then a multi index comprehensive evaluation model is constructed.
