On the occasion of the 20^thanniversary of Reunification，Macau has forged closer exchange and cooperation ties with neighbouring territories. In the context of the principle of “One Country，Two Systems”，interregional cooperation is facing problems in differences in institutions and coordination，of which legal regimes are relevant to its long-term development. It is therefore essential to enhance cooperation in interregional legal affairs. At present，not a few progresses have been made in legal cooperation between Macau and other territories，but there still exist gaps that require further studies in order to provide better environment and guarantee for the rule of law in interregional cooperation.
