The grassroots people’s courts shoulder an important mission in grassroots social governance. While giving full play to its administrative trial function，the people’s court of Mentougou District in Beijing has focused and targeted its investigations and studies on the characteristics of cases such as expropriation and demolition，demolition of illegal construction，and industrial and commercial registration in its jurisdiction. It has put forward the “three-dimensional integration” working mechanism，the “inviting and letting go” working guidelines and innovative ways to substantially resolve disputes，highlighting the important role of grassroots courts in social governance.
