The trial team is a new thing. How to construct a trial team scientifically is a practical test directly related to whether the judicial system reform can take root. This paper analyzes the current situation of the construction of new trial teams，summarizes various ways of exploring trial teams in the practice of intermediate courts，and puts forward suggestions on how to scientifically establish trial teams in intermediate courts referring to the relevant systems of foreign legislation. First，to legislate and standardize the “Judge + Judge Assistants + Clerks” model；Second，to clarify the responsibilities and allocation ratios of different members of the trial team；Third，to establish a mechanism for estimating the workload of members and scientific assessment；Fourth，to establish a trial team operation mechanism with judges as the core；Fifth，to establish a mechanism for the promotion and training of its members.
