The analysis of the employment situation and characteristics of college graduates can provide important reference and decision-making basis for the reform and development of college graduate training system and the formulation of regional talent policy. Based on the data of the employment quality report of college graduates in Sichuan Province in 2018，this paper investigates the employment situation，employment orientation and contracting rate of graduates in colleges and universities in Sichuan，and analyzes the geographical distribution of employment，industry distribution and the distribution of employment units. The characteristics of employment，and put forward relevant policy recommendations on expanding the training scale of graduate students，adjusting some professional settings，revising postgraduate training objectives and training models，and formulating local talent policies.
