Since 2018，Guangxi’s economy has shown a “U” trend of “a steady start in the first quarter，a rapid decline in the second quarter，and a recovery in the second half of the year.” Guangxi’s year on year economic growth of 6.8%，some indicators performed well，the economic structure was gradually optimized，and the quality and efficiency continued to improve. Looking forward to 2019，in the face of complex and severe external environment and relatively depressed market demand，it is expected that the economic growth rate of Guangxi will still slow down，the downward pressure will not be relieved. And there will be outstanding problems，such as the transformation and upgrading of old kinetic energy is difficult，the cultivation of new kinetic energy still needs to be strengthened，many restrictive factors for investment growth，and the uncertainty of foreign trade growth is strong. It is expected that the economic growth rate in 2019 will be about 6.5%.
