The central government’s position on Tibet is “To govern a country must govern the borderland，and to govern the borderland first to stabilize Tibet”. Therefore，maintaining national unity and social stability in Tibet is of great significance to the overall situation of the Party and the country. In 2018，the total economic volume of the Tibet Autonomous Region continued to increase，the structure was further optimized，the overall domestic and international situation was coordinated，and the “Belt and Road” Initiative construction was the key point to promote the formation of a new pattern of comprehensive opening-up. In 2019，Tibet Autonomous Region will pay close attention to the reform of people’s livelihood，expand domestic demand around the construction of the project，firmly push forward the poverty eradication and rural revitalization strategies，and promote the construction of a beautiful Tibet.
