In 2018，facing the complicated international and domestic situation，Gansu’s economic operation has made steady progress out of the trough and was generally good. Adhere to the “three-keynote” and “three-one” working mechanism，actively integrate into the “Belt and Road” construction，and focus on promoting high-quality development. The industrial structure has been continuously optimized，the development of the top ten ecological industries has started well，the poverty alleviation has been solidly promoted，efforts have been made to create a high-quality and efficient business environment，regional economic exchanges and cooperation have been strengthened，the five commanding points of culture，hub，technology，information and ecology have been actively seized，the opening-up has been expanded in an all-round way，and the quality and efficiency of economic operation have been gradually improved. At the same time，Gansu is also faced with the following problems：the year-on-year decline in fixed asset investment，the lack of potential for industrial growth above the scale of Gansu，the lack of innovation momentum，the reduction of old kinetic energy while deficiency of new kinetic energy，the slow adjustment of economic structure，and the continuous widening gap between Gansu and the whole country. Therefore，we need to further emancipate our mind，boost our confidence，plan for the long term，maintain our concentration，and pool our efforts to promote the industrial economy. To get out of the dilemma，we should strive to accelerate the development of green ecological industry，strive to expand effective demand，stimulate market vitality，comprehensively deepen reform and expand high-level opening-up，and ensure the stable and healthy development of Gansu’s economy.
