Jilin is located in the geometric center of Northeast Asia，and is adjacent to Russia，Japan and DPRK. It is a window of “Belt and Road” Initiative opening to the north. In 2018，although the economic growth rate of Jilin Province declined，it basically maintained a steady and progressive trend. There are still many difficulties in economic development and serious problems，such as slow pace of industrial restructuring，insufficient motive force for economic growth and lack of talents. In 2019，facing the complex international and domestic environment，the downward pressure of Jilin’s economy will continue to increase，and the growth rate of investment，consumption，import and export will slow down. In order to reduce the pressure，Jilin Province should intensify the reform efforts，accelerate the energy conversion of economic growth，stabilize the real economy，adhere to green development，promote balanced regional development，focus on ensuring and improving people’s livelihood，and improve the quality of economic development.
