During the whole year of 2019，what new development does Henan have in poems and proses？On one hand，relying on Henan Poetry Society as the core，many new poems have been published continually，poetry sessions，poetry reciting and poetry seminars have been appearing one by one，and more than that，there have been some people who have won national prizes；on the other，relying on Henan Prose Society and Henan Prose and Poetry Society，many activities and prose affairs such as publishing the relevant works，prose reciting and the relevant literature competitions，etc. were also held. Keeping close to the pulse of the times and following the development law of the literature style itself，the poetry and prose of Henan，on the most extensive folk basis，are containing infinite vigor and vitality. Generally speaking，comparing with the year of 2018，Henan literature，appeared much quieter. However，literature creation and its birth is a relatively long cyclical process，therefore，the period of quietness might be the accumulation of materials preparing for the next breaking out.
