After more than 20 years of development，Henan has made remarkable achievements in rural cultural tourism，while in the meantime，problems have been appearing. In the past two years，the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People’s Republic of China and the Bureau of Culture and Tourism of Henan province have taken a series of measures of selecting the country’s key rural tourism villages and rural tourism villages with distinctive culture. What have been done indicate that the whole country and the whole province have paid more attention to the construction of rural tourism. Henan has his own advantages in rural tourism. If we can improve our vision and push ahead，we believe that with the new development of society，economy and culture in the whole country and the whole province，and with the increasing demand for rural tourism，the undertaking of rural cultural tourism will sure to develop better and faster.
