The global shipping and air-freight markets are shaping the future of seaports and airports in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Great Bay Area. Given the slowdown in global shipping market growth and the steady growth of the air transport market，this paper，with the requirements of the Development Plan for Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Great Bay Area，explores the construction path to upgrade international competitiveness of the Great Bay port clusters through three dimensions：improving the modern collection and distribution system，promoting the sharing of port alliances and equity interests，and consolidating the Hong Kong’s role as the center of international transportation. To construct world-class airport clusters，seven directions of airport construction，approach for the developing Great Bay transportation，and the expansion of the new airport in Macao have been decided. The construction of world-class seaport and airport clusters will lead the socio-economic development of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Great Bay Area.
