Compared with our country，the lottery industry in the United States has a long history，its system is more complete and mature，in terms of sales is the world’s lottery power. Therefore，a comprehensive understanding of the U.S. lottery system is particularly important，which is helpful to provide experience and useful reference for China’s lottery industry. Based on the historical evolution of the U.S. lottery industry，this paper introduces the current legal system，institutional mechanism and related examples of the U.S. lottery industry，comparing and analyzing China’s lottery industry in the United States，and summarizes the reference and enlightenment of the U.S. lottery system to China. Based on the comparison of the lottery in China and the United States，the article suggests：Promoting the development of lottery in China in terms of laws and regulations related to lottery，strengthening information disclosure，and accelerating the use of new technologies.
