In 2018，China’s higher education has stridden into a fast developing period，the development of higher education in China has made remarkable achievements. The scale of higher education expands steadily. The speed of constructing the “double first-class” has been accelerated，The connotative development has been promoted in an orderly manner，The professional development of teachers has entered into a new stage. 2019，China’s higher education comes to the key point of popularization，The focus of the development has shifted from the extensive scale expansion to the connotative quality improvement. The construction of the “double first-class” has become an important strategy. And the outbound exchange and education has ushered in new development. However，the imbalance of regional development is still grim. The integration of production and education in high vocational education needs to be deepened，the transformation of application-oriented is facing challenges，and the informatization has a long way to go. Therefore this report proposes that China’s higher education should be strengthened through aggregating high-quality teaching resources，promoting the professional development of teachers，enhancing the establishment of think tanks，promoting the integrated development in the regional area，and striving to promote the internationalization of higher education.
