Based on the perspective of coordinated development of new urbanization and agricultural modernization in Henan，this paper selects 18 cities in Henan as the research object，and analyzes the data of Henan urban and rural integration through the compilation of relevant data in Henan Statistical Yearbook from 2013 to 2018. The results show that the comprehensive order parameters of the new urbanization and agricultural modernization subsystems in Henan show dynamic potential，and there is a close relationship between them. However，the coupling degree of the two has some differences for different regions；it is recommended to steadily improve the urbanization level and promote the population. The free flow of effective factors，the promotion of equalization of basic public services in urban and rural areas，the promotion of scale management to eliminate the urban-rural dual economy，the enhancement of resource advantages and environmental carrying capacity will further promote the integration of urban and rural development in Henan.
