Chinese digital economy is developing rapidly，and the digital economy of the Yangtze River Delta is in the forefront of the whole country. In 2018，the total scale of the digital economy in the Yangtze River Delta reached 8.63 trillion yuan，accounting for 40.9% of the regional GDP and 27.6% of the national digital economy. Its growth was very obvious and the growth rate reached 18.3%. Generally speaking，the digital economy in the Yangtze River Delta had continued the rapid development momentum in 2017，and three of the four provinces ranked in the top 10 of the comprehensive index of national digital economy，and they were Jiangsu，Zhejiang and Shanghai. The development of the digital economic base part of the Yangtze River Delta based on a good traditional foundation. In 2018，the electronic information industry in the region maintained a rapid growth rate which is above 10 percent. The contribution to economic growth was very prominent，and the proportion of the digital economy in GDP was also more than 10 percent. From the integration of digital economy and industry，the proportion of industrial digitization in Yangtze River Delta was about 71.3%. Industrial digitization had developed significantly in retail，medical care，education，cultural travel and other fields. Looking forward to 2019，the scale of digital industry in Yangtze River Delta will continue to expand，and the industry will further concentrate and develop. The integration of digital industry and traditional industry will also be more and more in-depth. There will be more new forms of industry，the contribution to the national economy will be further highlighted，and the process of integration of the Yangtze River Delta will be further promoted.
