In 2018，solid progress in various works has been made to ensure the high-quality development of industrial economy of the Yangtze River Delta，with steady growth in industrial production，a continues pick-up in the growth rate of industrial investment，an obvious development difference between industries，and a decline in total profit growth. The development of computer，communications and other electronic equipment manufacturing industry was quite different between member regions；the development of chemical raw materials and chemical products manufacturing industry was significant different between member regions；the development of electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing industry was different between member regions and automobile manufacturing industry maintained steady development. 2019 is an important year for the implementation of the 13th Five-Year plan，the industrial development of the Yangtze River Delta is facing a more complicated and severe situation. The Yangtze River Delta should take precise measures to promote steady and healthy development of industrial economy.
