The paper compare the urban residents consumption between Beijing with Shanghai by consumption in GDP，urban income，urban consumption and the durable goods consumption of urban residents.The results show there are several differences between Beijing and Shanghai in urban resident consumption，such as the Government consumption growing faster，income and consumption of Beijing urban residents growing lower，the Engel Coefficient rising in Beijing and down in Shanghai，and the more cars in Beijing.
