On the basis of the experiments in Beiwu village in Haidian District and Great Wangjing village in Chaoyang District ofBeijing，the reform of50 key villages in rural-urban fringe zone has been started at the beginning of 2010.After nearly one year’s work，the dismantling of 24 villages has been completed，and the whole project will be completed in 2-3 years.It is the necessity of urbanization and building world city to carry out the reform of50 key villages.It is helpful to carry out the reform of50 key villages smoothly and to be used for reference by other regions to generalize the experiences from the reform of 50 key villages.
