Its appearance marks a new milestone for China’s news industry intelligent development. In 2018，China Machine-generated News generally showed a good development trend. With the active support of national policies，technology upgrades and the diversified development of the audience，machine-generated news has achieved vigorous development. Overall，the development of machine-generated news presents five characteristics：from single field to multi-field application，from stylized application to object-oriented application，from low-infection to high-infection application，from superficial-level to deep-level application，from mechanical communication to human-computer interaction application. In the future，the machine-generated news industry should consider how to ensure data security，identify the authenticity of information as the entry point.
