Building accessibility environment is the basic condition to guarantee the equal participation of persons with disabilities，the elderly and other members of society in social life. This report mainly analyses the current situation and existing problems of accessibility environment in China，and finds that the relevant laws and policies of accessibility environment in China are gradually enriched，but the policies and regulations are still imperfect. The construction of accessibility facilities，accessibility information exchange and accessibility community services have achieved rapid development，but the development is uneven. There are obvious characteristics of insufficient balance，lack of accessibility evaluation mechanism and irregular management. Based on Baidu Index’s large data search behavior，we find that the public’s attention to accessibility has been increasing，while there are significant regional differences，and the overall awareness needs to be further improved. In order to speed up China’s accessibility environment construction，the report proposes that we should improve the accessibility policy and regulatory system，establish and improve the accessibility evaluation mechanism，promote the coordinated development of accessibility environment construction and the level of economic and social development，and strengthen the accessibility and universal design concept of popular science.
