Under the Research Center for Yangtze River Economic Belt Development of the Counselors’ Office of the State Council，the Task Force on Joint Research of Urban Clusters in the Middle Reaches of the Yangtze River pointed out the problems of low level and weak overall coordination in promoting the regional integration for urban clusters in the middle reaches，and proposed to carry out pilot of regional integration with industrial park coordination as the core and regional industrial hubs as the carrier.
