In the inspection of the Yangtze River Economic Belt in Hubei，General Secretary Xi Jinping once again stressed the need to promote well-coordinated environmental protection and avoid excessive development in pursuit of healthy growth when advancing the high-quality development of Yangtze River Economic Belt. He offered guidance for the further development of Yangtze River Economic Belt by proposing to appropriately handle the relationship between overall progress and key breakthroughs，between environmental protection and economic development，between overall planning and unremitting efforts，between removal of old driving forces and cultivation of new ones，and between individual development and coordinated development. High-quality transportation provides an important guarantee and driving force for accelerating the development of Yangtze River Economic Belt in accordance with new requirements. It is necessary to promote changes in the quality，efficiency and power of transportation，with focus on optimization and adjustment of transportation organizations and collaborative innovation of supply chain. An integrated approach should be adopted for transportation development to simulate the deep adjustment and optimization of transportation structure，energy structure and industrial structure of Yangtze River Economic Belt. Pace should be accelerated to construct a modern green three-dimensional transportation corridor that integrates with industry，economy，trade and ecology at deep levels.
