Ganzhou City of Jiangxi Province，an important ecological shield in the southern part of China，is included in the first pilot areas for ecological protection and restoration of mountains，rivers，forests，farmlands，lakes，and grasslands. To achieve ecological protection and restoration，the city makes scientific planning and design for systematic governance instead of single restoration；builds a co-governance mechanism that unites all forces；and improves the ecological conservation system that address various issues simultaneously. It appropriately handles the relationship between overall promotion and key breakthroughs，the relationship between environmental protection and economic development，and the relationship between overall planning and unremitting effort. In addition，the city actively develops innovative models of ecological restoration and creates pilots and examples to achieve ecological benefits for all the people.
