This report evaluates 90 sample towns in six types of modern manufacturing，commercial circulation，financial services，information technology，tourism culture and modern agriculture. The regional differences are obvious，and the quality of eastern towns is generally high. Different industries have their own characteristics. The modern manufacturing towns have outstanding advantages in industry but lack of financial support. The information technology towns have high quality and good development prospects. The quality of tourism and cultural towns is uneven. The biggest problem of modern agricultural towns is insufficient capital investment.
