“Pivotal” social organization work system is Beijing’s distinctive system design and mechanism innovation in the field of social construction and social governance structure. After ten years of exploration and practice，it has achieved certain results and needs to be improved. Based on field investigations，this article presents the process，status quo，results，experience，and practice of the construction of the social organization work system of the Shunyi District at a more detailed level，providing a basis for further theoretical summarization and in-depth research.
