Streets are the basis of urban management and social governance，the basis for consolidating the grass-roots political power，implementing the party and state lines，principles and policies，and the link to contact and serve the masses. They play an irreplaceable central role in the grass-roots governance system of megacities. In this regard，we should take the thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era of Xi Jinping as the guide to push forward the reform of street management system.
