Ever since the publish of United Nations Principles and Guidelines on Access to Legal Aid in Criminal Justice Systems，UN and other nations have been addressing the importance of legal aid and publishing a series of documents，publications，handbooks in order to improve the legal aid system，expand the beneficiary scope，as well as improve the legal aid quality. International legal aid conference held in Guangzhou in 2018，Tbilisi Declaration，and the Handbook on Framing，Establishing and Monitoring Quality of Legal Aid Services in Criminal Justice Processes are all efforts in ensuring fundamental fairness and public trust in the criminal justice process. By ensuring the legal aid quality，monitoring the legal aid service and guarantee the equal access to legal aid，we are striving for providing high quality legal aid service to indigent and vulnerable group in order to establish a peaceful，comprehensive and sustainable society.
