In response to the strategic deployment made by the CPC central committee to promote the development of media convergence，strengthen ideology dissemination and expand mainstream public opinion，Hubei Province has made attempts on the path for deep media convergence. The traditional media in Hubei represented by Hubei Broadcasting Group and Changjiang Daily News Group have made landmark achievements in building new media platforms such as Wuhan City Message Board，Morning Wuhan and Changjiang Cloud Mobile Government Service. The “News+government affairs+service” mode and “news+creativity” mode with new technologies bring more new media products. Changjiang Cloud is a highlight of media convergence for platform media.
