From 2017 to 2018，the media industry in Gansu Province accelerates the pace of media convergence，and takes late-mover advantage to promote in-depth media convergence. Gansu Broadcasting Group has optimized the top-level design and strategy layout on media convergence and Gansu Daily News Group has achieved good results in convergence practice. Focusing on the reform and breakthroughs of Gansu Broadcasting Group and Gansu Daily News Group，this paper analyses and discusses the achievements in key benchmark products of media convergence in Gansu and proposes corresponding suggestions on the concept of media convergence，system and mechanism and the building of talent cohort.
