This paper summarizes representative viewpoints from media convergence research at home and abroad from 2017 to 2018. The study finds that domestic research focuses on the nature of media convergence，cultivation of talents，infiltration of intelligent technologies，and the ecological reconstruction of the media industry. Foreign research generally explores around the following six aspects：the management and operation of convergence media，the path of change in media industry，up-to-date news training methods，the role and value of media professionals in news production，and the profound impact of media convergence on technological and cultural.
