In 2019，China’s residents’ income grew rapidly，and the income gap tended to narrow；the consumption level of residents steadily improved，and the quality of life continued to improve. Meanwhile，consumer confidence ran to a high level，and employment and income confidence remains at a high level. It is expected that in 2020，China’s economy will start a new round of development. It is expected that the annual economic growth will be about 6%. In order to promote the continuous growth of income and consumption of urban and rural residents in China，it is suggested that the government should expand social employment channels and enhance the employment ability of residents. Government also needs to reasonably regulate income distribution and expand the middle-income groups；adhere to the stability of housing condition and improve the consumption expectation of residents；improve the quality of supply and promote a strong domestic market；create a good consumption environment and enhance the consumption level of residents.
