Development of philanthropy not only relies on visionry stategic design，but also needs input of individual intelligence and effort. Guangzhou Civil Affairs Bureau and relative departments initiated an activity of looking for family of philanthropy in 2018，positively promoting the idea of philanthropy into citizens’ life. Philanthropy therefore becomes a new lifestyle. Three transformations could be observed from citizens’ participation in philanthropy. Firstly，mere donation changes into actively engagement in voluntary service. Secondly，more and more attention paid by the public to the community they are living in. Lastly，more and more citizens change from participants into advocate and dessiminator.
