Talent is core competitiveness for continuous development of philanthropy. Guangzhou has released a series of guidelines on talent support and cultivation to stress systematic planning of talent cultivation. In addition，integration of quality educational resources of higher education institution，party school and other organizations is encouraged，so as to explore multi-level educational network. Talent cultivation follows two pathways of specialized and professional education implemented by schools and social organizations. In light of current situation，Guangzhou’s philanthropic talent education faces a series of disadvantages. Namely，insufficient systematic planning，obvious homogenization，low degree of marketization，limited introduction of cross-border resources，laggardly discipline construction，insufficient input in promoting continuous study and self-study，simplification of learning target etc. Guangzhou should take forward to strengthen overall planning，concentrating on construction of teaching team，fundamental research and action research on philanthropy，promoting marketization of philanthropic training，extending training content and applying new teaching methods.
