Resolution of contradictions and disputes is an important part of the construction of safe Beijing in the new era，and it’s an inevitable requirement for the development of comprehensive social security management. This report divides the first-level indicators of “conflict and dispute resolution” into four second-level indicators，namely，“prevention and resolution of the source of social contradictions”，“multi-mediation of contradictions and disputes”，“risk assessment of social stability in major decision-making” and “construction of the rule of law in letters and visits”，the second-level are detailed into 14 third-level indicators. The total score of conflict resolution was 77.68 by using the methods of network search，questionnaire survey and interview，and synthesizing relevant data. In view of the overall situation，the prevention，investigation and resolution of the source of social contradictions in the construction of safe Beijing are well carried out，and the construction of multi-dimensional mediation of contradictions and disputes and the legalization of letters and visits needs to be strengthened. In the work of resolving contradictions and disputes in safe Beijing，under the background of constructing the pattern of social governance of co-construction，co-governance and sharing，it is necessary to promote local legislation，strengthen the organic connection and supporting guarantee between top-level design and grass-roots infrastructure construction，integrate modern science and technology，pay attention to the combination of professionalism and diversification orientation，enhance the participation of different subjects in society，smooth the channels of public interest expression，and improve the relevant standard system and supervision system.
