Based on the GBEE-CRAS2018，58 CSR reports of construction companies are assessed and analyzed in this research with recommendations. It is found that the overall reporting quality realizes leapfrog development from “development” stage to “catch-up” stage. The key issues disclosed also tend to be stable，but there are still some problems. It is suggested that the issuance of CSR report should be included in the relevant selection activities of construction industry，and more construction companies should be encouraged to issue CSR reports. Reporters need to strengthen the identification and prioritization of material topics，improve the pertinence of reports，and enhance the internationalization to establish better dialogue with overseas stakeholders；the information disclosure is not objective enough and reporters should communicate with stakeholders in a sincere and transparent manner.
