Accelerating the development of health service industry is an important measure for Hubei Province to transform its economic development mode and promote supply-side structural reform. It is also an inevitable requirement for improving the health of the whole people and building a well-off society in an all-round way. There is a large number of medical health education，medical and scientific resources，and a large reserve of medical talents in Hubei Province. The health service industry has a good foundation for development and has formed a certain industrial scale. At the same time，the Hubei provincial government attaches great importance to the health of the people，and has promulgated a serious of health industry-related policies such as “Implementation Opinions of the Provincial Government on Promoting the Development of Health Service Industry”，“13th Five-Year Plan for the Development of Medicine and Health in Hubei Province” and “The Healthy Hubei 2030 Action Outline”. These policies have made a well top-level design for the development of the health service industry in Hubei Province. However，both in terms of industrial structure and development level，there is still a long way to go in the development of the health service industry in Hubei Province.
