In 2018，the EU took a multi-pronged approach and concentrated on a series of policy measures to make unremitting efforts to strengthen Internet supervision and maintain network security. This report focuses on combing and presenting the status quo of EU Internet development and the practice content of Internet security governance in 2018. It points out that the EU strengthens Internet governance and protects business data and personal information by establishing regulations and policies，strengthening cooperation among countries and regional organizations. These governance methods，governance methods and the governance effects achieved have established a safe，orderly，open and cooperative network space for China. The development of a positive Internet security strategy can provide useful reference.
