In 2010, the global economy go into a recovery track, China's economy grow more rapidly. Under the influence of various international and domestic factors, the China's urban development presents a new patterns and trends. With the systematic evaluation on the scientific development level and livelihood construction of over 286 prefecture-level cities in China, the report find that, in 2010, almost all of the cities develop prosperity, especially the resource-based cities rapid development. The overall level of urban development improved, and the regional differences reduced significantly. At the same time, "Concern the livelihood of the people" becomes to a prominent highlight in the transformation of urban development. But in the other hand, china's urban development still faces dual constraints of resources and the environment, the imbalance of development serious, and the livelihood construction lag. How to adjust the structure, transforming development mode, in order to meet the need of rebalance and sustainable development, is severe challenge of china's urban development in the post-crisis era. <<
