Since the return, the Macao SAR government has attached great importance to the training of public servants and has achieved a series of achievements, forming the unique characteristics of Macao's public servants. At the same time, there are still various problems and shortcomings in the training system for public servants in Macao, which need to be carefully reviewed and improved. The reason is that the training of civil servants is an institutional arrangement embedded in the established civil servant system. To improve the civil servant training system, we must first strengthen the relationship between the training system and various civil servant systems such as the evaluation system and the promotion system, and open up all personnel. Interoperability and interconnection between management links, rather than letting each management link fight on its own, thus stimulating morale and enhancing the enthusiasm of civil service training. On this basis, the focus of the future reform of the training system for public servants in Macao will also focus on promoting the systematization and refinement of the system, strengthening the targeted training, and realizing the two-way promotion function of personal training and organizational development of public service training.
