This report focuses on the three basic social security systems including social insurance，social assistance，and social welfare，and sorts the policy system of youth social security systems. In the meantime，this report analyzes the current situation，problems and tendency of youth’s social security through using the data of Youth Development Status Survey. The study finds that young people in general have desirable social security condition；the coverage of social security programs is broad，and the development situation has major improvements，yet the satisfaction degree is very average. The youth social security policy system has remained problems such as relatively weak pertinence，fragmentized policy，poor management system，and unbalanced development. The study holds that the youth social security will embrace great development opportunity along with the issue of Medium-and-long-term Plan for Youth Development as well as the Planning Outline for Development of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
