This report adopts the data of the 2015 sample survey of 1% national population and the nationwide census data. The several elements this report considered include the gross and increase，gender and age structure，employment level，employment industrial and business structure，occupational structure and changes of the youth employed population in Guangzhou from 1990 to 2015 especially 2010 to 2015. The report finds that the Guangzhou youth labor resource and basic structure has experienced the major change，which is transition from the peak to reduction in 2010 regarding youth working-age population size and employed population size，and the proportions of these two items reduced to a 25-year low. There are three major transitions of industrial and business structure of youth employed population，featured with the modern type of leading by the tertiary industry and accelerated industrial upgrading. Youth employed population occupational structure has seen a transition process of optimization，and the employed population mainly concentrated in middle level occupations. There is relatively large gap between gender and age structure in aspect of youth employed population as well as the industrial and business structure and occupational structure. These features of the tendencies of Guangzhou’ youth employed population are going to continue. This report analyzes the main problem of youth employed population and raises recommendations.
