At present，the international trade friction represented by Sino-US trade war is becoming more and more frequent. Economic globalization is facing great challenges from ‘unilateralism’ and ‘trade protectionism’，which brings many uncertainties to the normal development of enterprises. Singapore has always adhered to the belief that enterprises are the cornerstone of economic development since its independence from 1965. By constantly improving its pro-business climate，Singapore has been favoured by global enterprises. This paper states that Singapore has nurtured a globally-recognized best business environment by building trust among enterprises，linking more resources to enterprises，delivering knowledge and labour capitals serving the knowledge-based economy，and providing high-quality living conditions for employees. Therefore，by learning from the development of Singapore’s business environment，this paper puts forward proposals to China’s Central business districts according to their current situations，which could provide as beneficial references for policy makers and decision makers.
