The transport industry is one of the first fields to practice PPP model. Since 1990s，the concession contracts have been adopted in Chinese toll roads. In recent years，under the background of central government promoting the implementation of PPP model，the Chinese transport industry has boldly tried and explored，actively promoted PPP model to be applied in the transport field. The new era opens a new journey of building China into a strong transport network，and based on the new situation and new requirements，this paper summarizes the implementation effects and innovative practices of transport industry to promote the PPP model，proposes the main measures to promote the application of the PPP model based on the transport industry characteristics，and clarifies the ideas and suggestions for solving problems in the development of new situations and practices.
