Since the 19th CPC National congress，Shandong government has taken strengthening the construction of spiritual civilization in rural areas and promoting the prosperity of rural culture as their work targets. Around the construction of public cultural facilities，the supply of public cultural services，the protection of excellent traditional culture and other fields，Shandong has made considerable achievements in carrying out the strategy of rejuvenating rural culture，actively promoting the cultural participation and consumption of rural residents. But in practice，there are still some practical problems，such as the disconnection between the supply and demand of rural public culture，the low participation rate of rural residents in cultural activities，all kinds of uncivilized phenomena exist in different degree，the shortage of rural cultural talents，and the difficulty of industrialization of rural culture. Based on this，this paper analyzes the current situation，problems and causes of rural cultural revitalization in Shandong province by using the statistical data collected from Shandong General Socio-Economic Survey hold by SDASS in 2018 and data published by the department of culture and tourism of Shandong province. Then puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to accelerate rural cultural revitalization，these countermeasures and suggestions include：promote ideological and ethical progress in rural areas，strengthen public cultural services，carry forward farming culture，cultivate local cultural talents，and develop rural cultural industries.
