In recent years，the Guangzhou Municipal Committee and the Municipal Government have adhered to the people-centered development idea and promulgated a series of employment support policies. Employment has achieved remarkable results，the scale of employment has been expanding，the employment structure has been constantly optimized，and the average wage of employees has increased rapidly. In order to further understand the effect of the policy，in November 2018，the Guangzhou Survey Team of the National Bureau of Statistics conducted a survey on the policy assistance for the unemployed in 11 districts of the city，from which some problems were found and policy recommendations were put forward.
