In order to conduct an in-depth analysis of the current state of the psychological capital of the employed residents in Beijing and its influence on their emotions，we conducted a stratified sample survey in 16 districts of the city and collected a total of 1，507 valid samples. The survey found that the psychological capital of employed residents in Beijing was at a high level. The psychological capital of residents with different social roles，job requirements and working resources was different，and the psychological capital of employed residents in Beijing was positively related to positive emotion，and negatively related to negative emotion. Finally，from the point of view of the government，units，and residents，the author puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions to improve the level of psychological capital.
