The basic information on the blood collection and supply，the main advance and experience and the existing problems in 2018 in Jilin City are analyzed and summarized in this report. There are nearly 40 thousand trips of voluntary blood donation in villages and towns of Jilin City in 2018. The whole blood reaches 62096.5U. There are 4021 therapeutic doses of donated apheresis platelet. Taking the opportunity of the 20^th anniversary celebration of the implementation of “Blood Donation Law of the People’s Republic of China”，the Central Blood Station of Jilin City vigorously publicized the significance of blood donation in 2018 to raise people’s awareness of the significance of donating blood and saving patients’ life. More and more people were mobilized and encouraged to donate blood voluntarily.
