All of nine blood services in Fujian province were surveyed by questionnaires and data collection. To understand the current situation of blood services in Fujian Province，the infrastructure，human resources，voluntary non-remunerated donations and blood collection，testing，components discard，distribution in 2018 of the nine blood services were retrospectively analyzed. According to the analysis，we recommended some effective actions for improving sustainable development of blood transfusion services，such as reinforcing the government’s leadership responsibility and establishing a long-term mechanism for voluntary non-remunerated blood donations，strengthening provincial blood system construction，reforming human resources and salary management，implementing effective quality system，improving clinical blood transfusion management，establishing provincial blood management information system and revising the Blood Donation Regulations of Fujian Province.
